This is my 3rd cane and one walking stick I have ordered. They are all gorgeous. My first was a "heart of hickory tactical street cane. So beautiful people stop me to ask where I got it many times. Canemasters! 2nd was a oak street cane, then a hictory walking stick that I get compliments on too. And finally this BEAUTIFUL "Pure Hickory" street cane. They are all incredibly strong. I have no doubt you could crack some heads and ribs without breaking it. I love the beautiful hardwoods. Probably won't be my last purchase. Buy it, you won't regret it.
Ordered this cane in August and it arrived to the house on 11 September.
The box and packing was the right packing for the shipping.
The cane was high quality hickory with slight curl bands down both sides. I’m already working out the details for my next Canemaster cane.
Great chunk of hickory. Straight, hard, tight- grained, with a great finish.

My Cane Master’s cane has proven to assist me with enhancement of fall prevention safety due to medication induced balance anomalies. It’s also great for personal protection and safety. I like your products. Ordering another but the shipping for the rubber tips cost almost as much as the tips. Checked Amazon and found 4 tips for $9.00 with free shipping with Prime. This is not a gripe but an observation
Great cane, nice finish, solid, obviously well made. Only thing I am not quite sure of is the white lettering “Shadowhawk”. I would dispense with that. Otherwise, excellent choice
I ordered two canes that are basically the same except the color of stain and horn style, gunstock brown and medium brown. Both are made of oak and have the palm rest. My canes were designed for aesthetics and mobility, not necessarily self defense. The main feature is that both have the extended grip. The gunstock brown has the elite horn style and the medium brown the inside cut horn. While I like the looks of the elite, if I was reordering, I would just get the inside cut.
I have had lots of compliments on both canes. I use the gunstock brown one for everyday and the medium brown for a little more dressy days. I believe the medium brown is more discrete, drawing less attention to the cane. They are both very sturdy and the best looking canes that I have found, however they are expensive.
I used the design your cane feature and was able to get the exact cane I wanted. This cane is worth every penny, so the value is easy to see. I am impressed with the craftsmanship, materials, business experience etc etc. I would recommend this to all my family and friends.
i got exactly what i ordered cane is strong well made has a nice finish. I have carried it to a concert where they check you with a metal detector, and walked right in with it. It sure makes you feel safer. The only draw back was it was slow to get here!
The shepherd's walking stick is something I always wanted. This walking stick, the strength and feel, exceeds my expectations.
Got it for help with balance problems. Stable platform. Better for balance than cane.
The self protection cane is a work of art. I would add that it took just short of a month to have delivery and understand that to provide this tung oil hand rubbed finish takes time. Anyone who needs immediate delivery should consider the ready to ship finished canes.
Its a great cane. Wish it had a more durable finish. I use it when irrigating and gardening work. It is perfect for that BUT I’m going to have to refinish it already. No problem for me but to most others it is going to be a big problem. Already the cane looks “bleached-out” and the grain has risen and it fills “fuzzy”. It is a very good serviceable cane perfectly sized for me just to rough looking for for anything except when I irrigate. Thank goodness for the other cane I bought at the same time… it is perfect! …very well finished.
I love the practice dogo cane I purchased. However the horn on my cane curves back on its self a little to far as such I can’t practice spinning the cane in my hand. I realize all these lower price canes have a flaw of some kind. Just makes this one is unusable to practice spinning and I don’t think my hands are overly big.Otherwise it’s a great walking cane. A value for sure at this price. Just needs the horn opened wider. Feel free to replace it If you feel obligated. That would be great. Thank you.
On the heavy side. Also bit short. Next time I order can inch longer
