Got this with a discount when I added it on to my cane purchase. So glad I did! It’s the perfect defensive practice cane. I use it on a couple of horse jolly balls hung from a tree. Lots of fun to whack with enough give to not bang up the cane or fatigue the hands. The length estimate was an inch too tall for my arms but a run through the mitre saw made short work of that issue.
I now have two canes from Cane Masters and they are very well crafted. I use one or the other every day. I needed a cane when I ordered my first one, but since have improved to the point that I carry a cane because I want to. I highly recommend Cane Masters as the quality is worth the price.
It’s a great lightweight cane but due to my arthritis it’s hard to grip the 7/8” diameter, so I ordered the standard Everyday Walking Cane which is 1”, I haven’t received yet.
But I really like the lightweight of the Dojo cane and will use it for practice.
Straight and true with no blemishes. Finish is butter smooth and the color is nice. Rubber cap on the bottom does a great job in keeping it from slipping. You will not be disappointed with Cane Masters.
Didn't really know what to expect when ordered, but surpassed my expectations. I can see no defects and is quality hardwood. I have been using it in training and it is performing well!
On line content to order a cane was confusing however issue was resolved via direct contact with home office. Superb product. Thank you
solid hickory cane. Weight good. Nice medium brown color. Hand grip good. Palm rest comfortable. Good fit. Excellent walking aid.
I am extremely happy with the quality, size and the accommodation of Cane Masters answering of email for Australian details being etched onto the Cane.
Bravo Zulu
Mr. Tommy absolutely loves his tip. It gives him relief and comfort knowing his cane will not come out from underneath him as well as it will stand on its own without having to be propped up!
I’m m completely impressed with my cane. The quality and craftsmanship oozes from it. I get many compliments on it as well.
If I had a chance to handle an actual cane I would have ordered a few more features. Bottom grips being one of them.
My new cane arrived this morning. It's the Standard Street Walking Cane, hickory, medium brown, no extras. It's a thing of beauty. The medium brown really shows off the grain. I also like the heft and the texture. My wife likes it, too. She's a "tactile person," and she likes how it looks and feels.
I'm reviewing my brand new teardrop-shaft cane. I ordered the basic hickory type for mine, and so since there was less grain to show off, I opted for a dark brown stain. It looks incredible, like an old piece of furniture. I can tell a lot of care went into it. Plus, this is one solid piece of wood. You can feel it, and you can't fake that. I have some other canes that I now doubt will ever make their way out of the umbrella stand again..
This is the real deal, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
I studied martial arts when I was younger. I’m 85 now and don’t move that well anymore. I’m watching videos about cane self defense and practicing with my Cane Master training cane. The first thing I did was put a clear wood finish on it. I train 2 to 3 times a week and carry it with me when I go out in public.
Beautiful and solid. Well balanced and well finished, this cane is far superior to the decorative “fashionable “ ones. Well worth the wait and price.
